Politicians and parties published deepfakes of Flavio Bolsonaro
Political opponents used technology to mock the presidential candidate

Brazilian politicians and parties are posting satirical deepfakes of Flávio Bolsonaro (PL-RJ) in an attempt to mock the presidential hopeful.
Representative Tabata Amaral (PSB-SP) published a video in which the pre-candidate sings a parody song in which he asks for money from a banker accused of fraud. The content was labeled as synthetic media in the caption and has a watermark from an AI tool.

Similarly, the Socialism and Liberty party (PSOL) posted a video that shows Flávio Bolsonaro serving the U.S. president Donald Trump as a waiter. The caption calls him a “traitor to the country”. In this case, there was no warning about the use of artificial intelligence in the content, as required by the Brazilian Electoral Court.
