Deepfakes of soccer players being used to show support for Lula

Images and statements from soccer players were manipulated using artificial intelligence to falsely declare support for President Lula (PT). Neymar, Kaká, Lionel Messi, and Cristiano Ronaldo were victims of a technology known as deepfake, which generates synthetic videos. This particular content, which circulated on TikTok, manipulates old recordings of the soccer players to include their support for Lula. Signs of manipulation are visibly identifiable, such as robotic audio and a lack of facial expressions. Additionally, the statements that came from Ronaldo and Messi were identical.
