AI-generated video suggests that Brazilian election system is bias and unreliable
The content manipulated the image of electronic voting machine's mascot in a parody

An AI-generated video shows the mascot of the Brazilian voting machine dancing to a parody funk music and making gestures in support of Lula. The lyrics of the song suggest that there was fraud at the polls, with no proof. “Pilili, someone voted for me,” he says.
It is possible to identify the video as synthetic content due to the plasticized appearance of the images and inconsistencies—such as the lack of synchronization between the characters’ mouth movements and their speech—within the recordings. Also, there are no official records of the mascot dancing to such a song.
The content was posted by a YouTube channel dedicated to making political music parodies with AI. The channel, however, does not disclose its use of this technology, indicating only that the content is humorous. “This video is a work of parody and humorous satire. The characters and situations presented are fictional representations used exclusively for purposes of entertainment and lighthearted social commentary,” states the video description.
