The AI Observatory in Elections is a joint project by the Data Privacy Brazil Research Association and Aláfia Lab. These are non-profit civil society organizations based in São Paulo and Salvador, respectively. This website and its content are the responsibility of these two organizations.
As your privacy is very important to us, this Privacy Policy provides you with clear, accessible information on how your data and information will be collected, used, shared, stored, and protected by the AI Observatory in Elections.

What personal data do we collect?
The AI Observatory in Elections does not collect sensitive personal data or personal identifiers from users who browse our website, and especially not from those who submit cases through our reporting channel. When complaints are submitted, they are processed anonymously in our system and stored on third-party servers.
Additionally, we do not make public any sensitive personal data (such as ID, CPF [Brazilian tax ID], address, photos) submitted through our reporting channel.
Will this privacy policy be changed?
The AI Observatory in Elections constantly updates its website and services, which may affect how your personal data is handled. Our Privacy Policy may be amended whenever changes are made to how personal data is treated. Changes may occur at any time, as necessary. For this reason, we recommend that you review this Privacy Policy regularly to stay informed of any modifications. The date of the latest update can be found at the beginning of the Privacy Policy.
Whenever an update is made to this Privacy Policy the AI Observatory in Elections will make every effort to make it transparent. Which law applies to this privacy policy?
This policy is governed by and shall be interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil. The São Paulo district courts will handle any issues that may arise from this document.
